A conference relating to border affairs was held recently between Mann Zhuang (曼庄)Frontier Inspection Station, Yunnan Xishuangbanna Border Detachment, China and Parker (帕卡)Frontier Inspection Station, Laos.

The two parties reported the information of entry and exit persons and vehicles in the third quarter of 2011. They also achieved agreements on fighting against crimes including smuggling, gun and drug trafficking, to enhance the controlling of bilateral borders and improve the conditions of customs clearing.

By now, 9 stowaways have been caught by the Mann Zhuang Frontier Inspection Station this year, and one gun has been seized. Three seriously ill persons have been rescued by the help of green channel between China and Laos.
